The leaves of ginseng contains 7-8 times more saponins than the root itself, but it is known for centuries that the leaves should not be consumed.
With the effort of farmer Moon Young-cheol and his research team, they manage to cultivate a ginseng at which the whole plant can be eaten.

The producer
This Moon Young-cheol, the farmer who is growing Saesaksam (wild ginseng sprout) in Jangseong, Jeollanam-do. He became interested in Saesaksam because the need to improve his father's health.
It has been know, the leaves of ginseng are not edible. In believing the possibilities of the leaves, with relentless research we successfully cultivated this wild ginseng sprout
what is so different about this Ginseng sprout?

While the leaves contain 7 to 8 times more saponins than the root, the healing plant is edible as a whole.

The environment growing ginseng is very specific as it cannot be cultivated before. Scientific studies helped to develop this facility at which is grown in as well as the clean air and water of Jangseong

No chemical fertilisers or chemical pesticides are used. Even it takes a lot of effort, time and cost, the conventional cultivation method was discarded. Rice husk from organic rice, fermented moss, fermented fallen leaves are some of the materials used to mimic the suitable enviroment for it's growth.

The sprouts are harvested everyday, packed and shipped on the same day. Korean ginseng is well known for its quality.

Storage
When received,
1. To prevent the root from drying out, either spray water on the ROOT Only or Cover the root section with wet towel.
2. Put it into an airtight container.
3. Keep it in the refrigerator.
